Gerdes, Van Alfred
Van Alfred Gerdes, 65, formerly of Coralville, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the Prescott Valley, Ariz., VA Health System. Services will be held at a later date.
Van married Rebecca Baumhover of Des Moines on Jan. 28, 1971, in Fallon, Nev.
He is survived by his wife, three children and a brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
