Geraldine Schroer Hennessey of Marion passed away peacefully at Bickford Cottage on June 1, 2016, at age 84. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. June 6 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, Ill., with a graveside service at noon in Oquawka Cemetery.
Geraldine is survived by her son, Glenn (Sue) Schroer of Marion; a daughter, Janie (Dennis) Manley of Shellsburg; five grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Geraldine's name by Turnbull Funeral Homes for dementia research.
Her family would like to thank the entire staff of Bickford and Compassus care team for all their help; we could not have done this without all of you.
