Geraldine A "Gerri" (Walker) Davis, 76, of Marion, died Saturday, July 4, 2015. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion, with the Rev. Mark McCoy officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Lee of Marion; three children, Michael (Chris) Enderes of Tracy, Calif., Kelly (Chris) Aiken of Victoria, Minn., and Jeffrey (Christina) Enderes of Belgrade, Mont.; stepchildren, Denise Davis, Diann High of Lafayette, La., and Douglas Davis; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Walker of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Gerald (Alice) Walker of West Burlington and Roger (Cathy) Walker of Marion; a sister-in-law, Winnie Walker of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Darlene Trumpold; and a brother, Marvin Walker.
Gerri was born March 18, 1939, the daughter of George and Elsie (Swick) in Watkins. She graduated from Wilson High School in Cedar Rapids in 1957. On April 11, 1973, she married Leon Davis in Galena, Ill. Gerri had been employed by Armstrong's, Duchess Cleaners, Makita Tools and as a receptionist at Family Footcare.
Gerri belonged to Curves and was a member of the class reunion committee. Gerri enjoyed baking, flower gardening, crosswords and reading. She collected owls and enjoyed the occasional trip to casinos.
