GERALD VINCENT "GERRY" KELCHEN

Gerald Vincent "Gerry" Kelchen, 78, of Manchester, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Kelchen of Manchester; six children, Dan (Patti) Kelchen of Manchester, David (Chris) Kelchen of Vinton, Lori (Tom) Bunting of Edgewood, John (Cindy Weber) of Manchester, Terry (Christine) Kelchen of Dyersville and Sara (Joe) Richter of Earlville; 15 grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; four siblings, Elsie (Emil) Althoff of Earlville, Harold (Pearl) Kelchen of Ryan, LeRoy (Roselyn) Kelchen of Dyersville and Leon (Dixie) Kelchen of Strawberry Point; two sisters-in-law, Roseanne Kelchen and Mary Kelchen, both of Edgewood; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester, with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. Friends also may call an hour before Mass at the church on Monday. Private family interment is Tuesday, Nov. 1, at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
