George G. Kibler, 70, of Independence, Mo., passed away Monday, March 2, 2014. Funeral to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Kansas City, Mo., with visitation at 1 p.m.
George was preceded in death by his father, George B. Kibler.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Kibler; his mother, Wilma Kibler of Hiawatha; his daughters, Kimberly Hook (Paul) of Pleasant Hill, Mo., and Kristine Morgan (Russell) of Lee's Summit, Mo.; his brother, Ronald Kibler (Paula) of Hiawatha; his grandchildren, Keith, Kyle, Karissa, Drake, Ben and Angeleena; a great-grandson, Christopher; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
George was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1961. He served in the Air Force for four years and worked for the General Services Administration from 1966 until he retired in 2002. He was a member of American Legion Post 21.
