Gene Koenighain, 82, of Iowa City, passed away Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Lone Tree. A small service for family and close friends will follow visitation beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery.
