Geeben, Dorothy P.
Dorothy P. Geeben, 101, of Stuart, Fla., formerly of Marion, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart, Fla. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include her son, John (Masa) Bunting of Marion; two grandchildren, James and Joan; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was born in Mondovi, Wis., and moved to Stuart, Fla., 57 years ago, coming from Marion, Iowa. She was mayor of Ocean Breeze Park and the oldest serving mayor in the United States. She was a member of Eastern Star Unity Chapter 37.
