GAYLE L. (SAUERBRY) LEEPER

Gayle L. (Sauerbry) Leeper, 61, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away at the Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, Iowa, on Saturday, June 5, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service will be offered at 2 p.m. Friday, June 11, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery-Mount Moriah with certified celebrant Jim Parton officiating.
Gayle was born Aug. 22, 1959, in Greely, Iowa. She was the daughter of Norma and the late Wayne Sauerbry. On Dec. 17, 2004, Gayle married Jim Leeper in Manchester, Iowa. Gayle enjoyed cooking, shopping, baking, and she always had a heart for children.
Those left to cherish Gayle's memory are her husband, Jim; her daughters, Cami and Carrie; her grandson, Derrek; brothers, Brad and John Sauerbry; her mother, Norma Sauerbry; sisters-in-law, Patrice (Beauford) Sligh and Becky (Pat) Lynch; and two nephews, Jacob and Michael Lynch.
She was preceded in death by her father and her special cat, Frosty.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the ICU at Mercy Hospital for all of the care and support they showed to Gayle while she was in their care.
