Gayle Arlene (Fisher) Johnson, 77, of West Des Moines, died suddenly in her sleep at home on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021. A celebration of her life will be held at
2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at Plymouth United Church of Christ, 4126 Ingersoll Ave., in
Des Moines. A visitation will be held from
1 to 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at
the church. Inurnment will be held at Plymouth Church Memorial Gardens. A luncheon will follow at the church.
Survivors include her husband, Bloyce Johnson of West Des Moines; son, Steve Johnson (Heather) of Smithfield, Utah, and their daughter, Collette; daughter, Sandra Countryman (Lydia) of Portland, Ore.; stepson, Troy Johnson (Beth) of Madison, Ohio, and their sons, Nathan Johnson (Amber) and Christopher Johnson (Vicki) and their sons, Josh and Micah Johnson; stepson, Trent Johnson (Jeanne) of Sioux Falls, S.D., and their children, Jacob and Julia Johnson; stepson, Todd Johnson (Marie) of Rockford, Ill., and their son, Adrian Radabaugh; sister-in-law, Myrna Fisher of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and her son, David Fisher (Heather) and their children, Elise and Ryker Fisher; as well as Bloyce's family, other relatives, friends; and her beloved Schnauzers, Diamond and Schatzie.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Fisher; father, Doyle Fisher; son, Scott Johnson; brother, Gary Fisher; and her Schnauzers, Fritzie, Duke, Daisy, Max and Bru.
