Gayle Marie Griffith, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022. A celebration of life will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Prairie Hill Pavilion, Marion, Iowa. Food and drinks are being provided by the family.
Survivors include her children, Shannon (TJ) Clements and Scott (Melissa) Nelson; significant other of 20 years, Fred Seltrecht; brothers, Mike (Melinda) Griffith and Rick Griffith; grandchildren, Codie, Emily, Carly, Blake and Brooke; and nieces and nephews.
Gayle was born Nov. 6, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Edward and Louise (Larson) Griffith. She worked as a school and city bus driver for many years. Gayle enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds, collecting Betty Boop, doing puzzles and hitting garage sales everywhere. She had a soft spot for animals and a great love for her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
