Over the years, Gay enjoyed teaching Sunday school, attending bible study and small groups. She was a member of Clover Ridge Method Church in Walford, Iowa. Gay and George spent much of their time bowling and golfing. Many family vacations and Saturday mornings were spent golfing. Gay spent many hours caring for her loved ones in their time of need. She helped care for her mom, husband and sister Claudette at the end of their lives. She took a lot of pride in being so active in the lives of her grandchildren. Gay drove the neighborhood kids to school for years. Six boys loaded up into Gay’s car to ride a block to school. She never missed a school concert or sports activities. Gay was selfless, loving and devoted to her family and friends. She is greatly missed.
