Gary LuVerne Plogmann, 73, died Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the University of Iowa
Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Traer. Inurnment will be in West Union Cemetery, Traer.
Gary is survived by his wife, Darlene Plogmann of Vinton; two children, Allan (Linda) Plogmann of Alto, Ga., and Teresa (Gary) McKenna of Vinton; sister, Lavon (Tim) VandeKamp of Gilman; brother-in-law, Robert Latting of Grinnell; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
