Gary Lee Newmarch, 71, of DeWitt, Iowa, died Monday evening, Oct. 1, 2018, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, Neb.
He was born Sept. 5, 1947, in Clinton, Iowa, to Lloyd and Bernice (Marcus) Newmarch. He resided in Glenwood, Iowa, for many years.
Surviving are siblings, Larry (Becky) Newmarch of Clinton, Bonnie (Hank) Lehmkuhl of Camanche, Diane (Robert) Voss of Marion and Rick (Julia) Newmarch of Cedar Rapids; nieces and nephews, Tommy, Mandy and Mark Fuller, Lance and Casey Newmarch and Kevin, Amy and Craig Lehmkuhl; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooklyn Newmarch, Jacob, Tyler, Lucas and Jenna Lehmkuhl, Joaquin and Gian Lehmkuhl and Owen, Cole, Wesley and Maria Fuller.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Nancy Fuller.
The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018. A funeral Mass will be held at
10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church with the Rev. Father Stephen Page officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
