Gary Geno Moreno, 26, of Coralville, died Monday, May 5, 2014. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 11, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tiffin. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City.

Geno, as many knew him, or "G-money," was born Aug. 17, 1987, in Worcester, Mass., the son of Gary J. and Migdalia (Rivera) Moreno. Following high school he had lived in worked in many parts of the country, coming to live near family here in Iowa in 2007. Here he worked with his uncle in the roofing business and also at the LaCava Restaurant.
His family includes his father and stepmother, Gary J. Moreno and Michelle Martinez of North English; brother, Peter Mendoza of Iowa City; grandmother, Herminia Rivera of Worcester, Mass.; uncle, Mike and aunt, Joannie of South English; uncle, Dennis, and uncle, Pete of Coralville; Tio Berto and Titi Kim, uncle, Mark, and uncle, Poochie, Titi Toni and Titi Sandra, all of Worcester, Mass.; and numerous beloved cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and uncles, Billy and Angel.
