West Amana
Gary Lee Miller, 67, of West Amana, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Compass Memorial Hospital, Marengo. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Middle Amana Church with Elder Kristie Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the West Amana Cemetery, with a Masonic service. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Middle Amana Church.
Memorials may be contributed to the American Diabetes Association or the Amana Church Society. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements.
Gary is survived by his wife, Ellen; his mother, Ethel Miller of Marengo; a brother-in-law, Dale (Mary Kay) Peck of Galena, Ill.; sister-in-law, the Rev. Anna Peck of Cedar Rapids; an uncle, Harvey Oehler of Amana; and an aunt, Elsie Oehler of Jacksonville, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father, George; three aunts, Karen and Helen Louise Oehler and Lucille Harbor; and three uncles, Orville and William Oehler and Leo Harbor.
