Memorial services for Gary Lee Lucky, 74, of Branson, Mo., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson. Cremation and arrangements were under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson. He died Sunday, May 25, 2014, at Cox-Walnut Lawn in Springfield, Mo.
He was born Feb. 24, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Donald and Kathryn Harris Lucky. He had been a teacher, Realtor, a business owner and worked in retail sales. He was of the Catholic faith and had been a resident of Branson for the past 18 years and had been a resident of the Cedar Rapids area for many years.
Survivors are his wife, Barbara Yates Lucky of the home; and a son, Brian Lucky and wife Kayla of Branson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Alan Lucky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association in his memory.
