We are heartbroken to share that our beloved father, brother, and grandfather, Gary Schulze, who his sons called “POPS”, passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 70.
He was born March 18, 1955 and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA. He moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1988 then to Arizona in 1994 where he lived for the remainder of his life.
Gary was a man of great strength, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. He lived a life marked by hard work, quiet wisdom, and a generous heart. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a story, or simply being present, he made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
He will be profoundly missed by his sons, Nick V. Mallory and Lance Leming; granddaughter, Clarissa Mallory; brothers, John Schulze and Bob Schulze; sisters, Janet Evens and Luanne Carter; girlfriend, Belinda K. Moore; and all who had the honor of knowing him.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Dave and Peg Schulze.
A graveside service will be held July 12, 2025 at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, at Mount Morian, Lot 214. The remembrance will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
