GARRY RUPPERT
Coralvile
Garry L. Ruppert, 61, of Coralville, died unexpectedly Feb. 21, 2014, at his home. His family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at the Pizza Ranch at Sycamore Mall in Iowa City.
Garry was born May 6, 1952, in Iowa City, the son of George and Charlotte (Terrell) Ruppert. Growing up in Iowa City, he graduated from Iowa City West High School in 1970. He worked at Pagliai's Pizza (when they delivered!) and in later years worked for the post office in Iowa City as a sorter.
Garry is survived by his mother, Charlotte of Iowa City; brothers, Terry and his wife, Karen of Gilbert, Ariz., and Mark Terrell and his wife, Rachel of Campbell, Calif.; and a nephew, Joey Ruppert.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Bill.
