Gail Vititoe, 69, of Belle Plaine, Iowa, died Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Private services have been held. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, assisted the family.
Gail was born May 11, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Lonnie and Dorothy (Donahue) Temple. She was united in marriage to G.F. Spears, who became her longtime love, companion, and father to her children. Gail worked in retail and loved working with customers. She later married Roger Vititoe. Gail was an incredibly strong woman with a contagious laugh. She was a loving
mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy J. Cross (Scott) of Belle Plaine; son, Jeff L. (Brianna) Spears of Indianapolis; three grandsons, Lonnie, Kris, and Dallas; brother, Mike F. Temple of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, G.F. Spears; husband, Roger Vititoe; son, Jeff Owen Spears; granddaughter, Elizabeth Spears; and eleven brothers and sisters.
