Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Teahen Funeral Home, and Saturday after 9 a.m. at the church.
Gail is survived by her husband, Billy; four sons, Aaron (Tina) of Newton, Allan (Heidi) and Alldan, both of Cedar Rapids, and Adam (Brittney) of Atkins; three sisters, Glenda (Bill) Balsanek of Van Horne and Gloria (Dave) Hubbell and Gretta (Nate) Pollock, both of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Garry (Dorothy) and Grant (Debra) Grimm, both of Cedar Rapids, and Gregg (Lynn) Grimm of Cambridge, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Chevy, Kayden, Ian, Caleb and Addison.
Gail was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber; and her parents, Marvin and Betty.
Gail was born April 26, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Marvin and Betty Luxinger Grimm. Gail attended Kenwood Elementary, Franklin Middle School, and graduated from Washington High School in 1972. She married Billy Langston on Aug. 14, 1983, in Milton, Fla. She was a Navy veteran, and a member of Springs of Life Church.
Gail was a Super Mom, who loved spending time with, and caring for, her husband, children, grandchildren and those in need. She was a special lady who loved butterflies, pets of all kinds, and was an avid collector. Gail often talked about her great memories of being a Camp Fire Girl, from a large family, a Navy wife, and the special lifetime friends she made during those years.
