Vinton
G. Allen McNamee, 95, of Vinton, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at the Vinton Lutheran Home. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Vinton Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. Jessica Crane-Munoz. Full military rites will be conducted at the church. Interment: 2 p.m. Saturday at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Visitation: 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Vinton Presbyterian Church.
Phillips Funeral Home, Vinton, is in charge of arrangements.
Allen is survived by his son, James (Marlene) McNamee of Waterloo; his daughter, Ruth Ann (Robert) Evans of North English; and many other family members.
