Fruendt, Luella K.
Luella K. Fruendt, 91, of Victor, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. A celebration of her life will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at St. John's Lutheran Church near Victor, with the Rev. Nicholas Huelsman officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery near Victor. Visitation will be held Sunday at Smith Funeral Home in Victor from noon until 6 p.m., with the family present to greet friends from 4 until 6 p.m.
Luella is survived by her son, David (Cynthia) Fruendt of Iowa City; two daughters, JoAnn (Gene) Ketterling of Norwalk and Marlene (Gary) Read of Victor; her son-in-law, Don Blunck of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be designated to St. John's Lutheran Church in Victor.
