Frozene, Rollie
Rollie Frozene, 73, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at his home. Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Cedar Rapids by the Rev. Bill Harnish. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include two sisters, Freida Kearney of Cedar Rapids and Phyllis Freilinger of Waterloo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Adeline Carroll and Annabelle Swick; and a brother, Harold Frozene.
Rollie was born Jan. 14, 1939, the son of Emil and Elizabeth (Matthews) Frozene in Coloma, Wis. Rollie served with the U.S. Army from 1963-1967. He worked at Penick and Ford as a millwright, retiring in 1978.
