Frost, Connie B.
On April 27, 2010, Connie B. Frost, 68, passed away at her home on Fleets Neck, Cutchogue, N.Y., after a valiant battle with metastasized breast cancer for the third time. Visitation will be May 2 at Galloway & Crane Funeral Home in Basking Ridge, N.J., from 5 to 8 p.m. and on May 3 at Coster Funeral Home in Cutchogue, N.Y., from 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Cutchogue Presbyterian Church on May 4 at 11:30 a.m.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Marshall Frost; her two children, Kristin Hillestad Licata and husband Chris of Tewksbury, N.J., and Erik Hallvard Hillestad and wife Nancy of Los Angeles, Calif.; her three stepchildren, Jennifer Frost Cully and husband Brian of Landing, N.J., Sheri Frost McDonnell and husband Thomas of North Wales, Pa., and William Marshall Frost and wife Kristen of Ridgewood, N.J.; and nine grandchildren, Ariana Licata, Christopher Licata, Joseph Licata, Talia Licata, Shane Hillestad, Thomas McDonnell, Samantha McDonnell, Megan McDonnell and Sean Cully. She is survived by her brothers, Robert and Jerry Bender; and sisters, Joann Schweitzer, Char Hansen and Sarah Breidert.
Born May 23, 1941, in Keystone, Iowa, to Robert Bender and Esther (Seeck) Bender, she lived in Basking Ridge and Tewksbury, N.J., before moving to Cutchogue. She graduated from Washington High School class of 1959 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and attended Iowa State University. She was a member of League of Women Voters, and the Planning Board and Township Committee in Basking Ridge, N.J.
Connie was, above all, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, sailing and golf. But most of all she loved her friends, flowers and grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
