Fritz, Faron Michael Robert
Faron Michael Robert Fritz, 30, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, in a work-related accident in Cedar Rapids. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Internment will be at the Cass Center Cemetery in rural Anamosa. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Goettsch Funeral Home.

Surviving are his wife, Cathy; daughter, Emily Ann; his father, Faron (Brenda Anders) of Anamosa; mother, Mary Anne Williams of Anamosa; three sisters, Shenna Lynn Fritz (Dave Oberbreckling) of Onslow, Cornelai and Catherin Fritz of Anamosa; grandmother, Davidee Boge of Stone City; mother- and father-in-law, Dale and Margaret Baumler of Anamosa; brothers-in-law, Scott (Julie) Baumler and family, David Baumler of Marion, and Mark (Andrea Hinz) of Anamosa; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and his dog Emma.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Marilynn Fritz; two grandfathers, Frank Fritz and Arthur Boge; and two uncles, Daniel and Robert Boge.
Faron Fritz was born Sept. 11, 1979, in Maquoketa. He was the son of Faron Fritz and Mary Ann Boge. He is a 1999 graduate of Anamosa High School. On Aug. 11, 2007, Faron and Cathy Baumler were united in marriage at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anamosa. Faron was currently working for Ricklefs Construction in Anamosa. He loved John Deere Tractors, snowmobiling, four wheeling, hunting, Caterpillar machinery, and being outdoors; but thing he treasured most was the time he got to spend with his daughter, wife, family and friends. He will be dearly missed by those closest to him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a scholarship for Faron's daughter Emily.
