Fredricks, Rosalynne O.
Rosalynne O. Fredricks, 77, of Marion, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Memorial services: 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion. The family will greet friends two hours before the service at the funeral home. Inurnment: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include her two children, Donnette (Joe) Hutchins and Daniel Sr. (Nancy) Nickerson; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Knapp, Todd Hutchins, Angela Hutchins, SSG James R. Nickerson, presently stationed in Iraq, Dan Butler, Eric Butler and Jeffery R. Nickerson; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one son, David Fredricks.
Rosalynne was born April 23, 1932, in Mason City, Iowa, to Oval and Fern (Scrambler) Martin. She married Andrew Fredricks on Jan. 25, 1954. Rosalynne was a homemaker and also worked for over 20 years in the Mercy Medical Center cafeteria.
