Frederick Andrew LaGrange, 73, of Springville, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, at his home. Family will greet friends and family from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Springville Cemetery in Springville.
Frederick was born on March 17, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Leo and Lily (Olson) LaGrange. He was a 1968 graduate of Jefferson High School. Frederick worked for P&H/Harnischfeger, Goss Manufacturing, and Johnson Gas Manufacturing. He was a member of East Linn Street Machines. Frederick loved to fish, play pool in pool leagues, work on cars and motorcycles and barbecue. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Frederick is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Mary LaGrange of Springville; children, Jason of Cedar Rapids and Eric of Springville; and a grandchild, Rylee of Springville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twins, David and Diane; and infant grandson, Brendan.
