Dean was a man of many passions and friendships. He was a skilled pipe fitter and retired as a service salesperson from Johnson Controls. He was very involved with the church, including being on the committee to build the new St. Ludmila Catholic Church.
Dean loved the outdoors and the camaraderie that came with it. He cherished Canadian fishing trips with his sons and grandsons and spent nearly twenty years wintering in Texas.
