Frazeur, Joanne K.
Joanne K. Frazeur, 85, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 21, 2012, at The Meth-Wick Community following a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, by the Rev. James Wartian of New Covenant Bible Church. Interment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour before the service.
Preceding Joanne in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kadlec, and her husband, Richard Frazeur.
Joanne attended Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids and graduated from the University of Iowa.
She lived in Chicago, Illinois for several years, where she married Richard Frazeur at Moody Church. She worked as a proofreader in Chicago until Richard's death and then came back to Cedar Rapids to help take care of her parents.
Memorials may be made to New Covenant Bible Church or Hospice of Mercy.
