Frasher, Edward T. 'Barney'
Edward T. “Barney” Frasher, 91, of Cascade, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Cascade, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Cascade, with full military honors by the Cascade American Legion Post No. 528. Friends and relatives of Barney may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, where a wake service will be held at 4 p.m.
He is survived by two sons, Terry (Jan) Frasher of Cascade, and Richard (Rose) Frasher of Houston, Texas; one son-in-law, Dick Aitchison of Cascade; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Frasher of Guttenberg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marguerite Frasher on July 28, 1993; one daughter, Kay Aitchison on May 3, 2006; and a sister Margaret Ann Otten.
An Edward T. Frasher memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
