FRANCIS "JUNIOR" THEISEN
Edgewood
Francis G. "Junior" Theisen, 84, of Edgewood, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home.
He was born Dec. 22, 1930, in New Vienna, Iowa, the son of Francis J. and Mathilda (Foxen) Theisen. Francis served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He was stationed in Germany.
Francis was a faithful member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.
Surviving are sisters, Anna Theisen of Edgewood, Dorothy (Gerald) Strang of Cascade and LuAnn (John) Wessel of Colesburg; and brother, Richard Theisen of Wichita, Kan.
Francis is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald; a sister, Jeane Turner; a half brother, Milo; and two sisters-in-law, Joan and Darlene Theisen.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Edgewood, with the Rev. Stephen Lundgren as officiant. No visitation per his wishes. Interment, with military rites: Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Holy Cross.
