Frances was born March 17, 1937 in Bogalousa, LA, daughter of Luther and Cola Lawrence. After graduating high school Frances went to work at Kessler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS, where she met Eugene Knuth. They were married May 28, 1960, in Cascade, IA.
Frances loved to visit with people. She loved music and was a dance instructor in her younger days. She could make anything grow with her magic green thumb, was an excellent cook, could knit, crochet and sew anything, but most importantly she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her husband Eugene Loras Knuth, daughter Stephanie Knuth, brother Myron Lawrence, Grand children Lance, Kayla, Michael, Shania, Olivia, Jacob and Kyndall as well as 14 great grand children.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, sister Nene and children Todd, Taff and Melanie.
The family of Frances would like to thank the staff at English Valley Care Center and Essence of Life Hospice for their care and compassion they gave Frances. They are all truly exceptional people.
Private graveside services will be held for Frances in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade, IA.
