Frances Berniece Harris, 78, of Manchester, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at the ABCM Rehabilitation Center in Independence.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn "Shorty" Harris of Manchester; five children, Bob (Mara) Jared of Princeton, Jim (Kelly) Jared of Manchester, John (Debbie) Jared of Ryan, Peggie (Rick) Hempstead of Manchester and Shellie (John) Meyer of Independence; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bob Snyder of Manchester; a sister-in-law, Mil Snyder of Edgewood; and her beloved dog, Suzy.

Funeral services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Manchester, by the Rev. Mike Druhl. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the funeral home. Friends may also call one hour before the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment: Sorden Cemetery, Keswick.
