Fox, Stacie Marie
Stacie Marie Fox, 38, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died in her home in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Wednesday, Aug, 15, 2012. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Teahen Funeral Home, where friends may visit Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m., and Monday after 10 a.m. A private family inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery following the services.
Stacie was born Nov. 22, 1973, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Mike and Jeanie Schuler Fox. She attended Hoover Elementary School, Taft Middle School, and Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream, Ill., in 1992. She graduated from the University of Northern Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She had worked as a secretary at Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colo.
Stacie is survived by her mother, Jeanie Schuler Fox; a sister, Amy (JC) Williams, a brother, Tony Fox, two nephews, Tyler Fox and Jayce Williams, and two nieces, Gracie and Ally Fox, all of Colorado Springs; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mike (2010); grandparents, George and Mary Schuler and Gladys and George Fox; and a very special cousin, Kelly Fox.
Stacie loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed reading and spending hours doing cross stitch. She had just reconnected with her Jefferson High School classmates and her high school classmates from Illinois. Stacie had just registered at Pikes Peak College to obtain her master's degree in psychology.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
