Forristall, Glenn H.
Glenn H. Forristall, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at New Aldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Teahen Funeral Home by Bob Winslow. Burial: Linwood Cemetery. Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his sons, Wayne Forristall of North Port, Fla., Glenn Forristall Jr. of Burlington, and Richard Forristall of Houston, Texas; daughters, Gail Forristall of Waterloo, and Connie (Dan) Bachman of Cedar Rapids; son, Bob (Stacy) Hiller of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dale; and a son, Larry Forristall.
Glenn Herbert Forristall was born Dec. 22, 1926, in Hoopeston, Ill., the son of Dale Donald and Elma Rachel Pugh Forristall. He served his country during World War II in the Navy. He was a member of Teamsters #238 and worked for Briggs Churchill Freightliner, retiring in 1984.
