Forrest Clyde Boxwell,
76, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016. A gathering will be held from
5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Services: private. Inurnment will take place at Fairfax Cemetery in Fairfax.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Lee Boxwell; his son, Forest C. Boxwell III of Cedar Rapids; his daughter, Christine Doyle of Fairfax; his granddaughters, Amanda Boxwell of Dows and Allison Boxwell of Cedar Rapids; great-granddaughter, Rylie Bryant of Dows; and his sisters, Judy Poduska and Nancy (Terry) Franc, both of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Forrest was born July 9, 1940, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Forest and Emily (Kravarik) Boxwell. He married Minnie Lee Plummer on May 2, 1963, in Cedar Rapids. Forrest was a truck driver. He was an avid Packers fan and loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.
