Florence Ella Buckley, 82, of Coggon, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at ManorCare Health Services of Cedar Rapids. A celebration of her life will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City. Inurnment: Spring Grove Cemetery in Coggon.
Survivors include her children, Don (Debbie) Hiepler of Shellsburg, Susan (Steve) Godden of Bernard, Curtis Hiepler of Coggon, Darwin (Myra) Hiepler of Buffalo, Wyo., Steve (Lori) Hiepler of Cedar Rapids and Charlotte Akers (Tim) of Cedar Rapids; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Hiepler and John Buckley; grandchildren, Ricky Scott, Billy Wells and Payton Swallom; and two siblings, Venice and Carl.
Florence was born April 16, 1935, the daughter of Carl and Ella Grube in Minnesota. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandson. She wanted to be a great-great-grandmother and she made it. Florence enjoyed going to flea markets, auctions and sewing.
