Flitsch, David
David Flitsch, 70, of Gold Canyon, Ariz., passed away Nov. 16, 2012.
Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1942 to Dale and Evelyn Flitsch, David graduated from Alburnett High School in 1960. He earned a B.S. degree from Westmar College in 1964 and M.S. degree from University of Notre Dame in 1969. David taught mathematics in Marathon and Akron, Iowa, Cedar Grove, Wis., and retired after teaching for 29 years at Appleton West High School in Wisconsin. In 1999, David retired with Susan (Hacker), his wife of 47 years, to Gold Canyon, Ariz.
David is survived by his wife, Susan; his sons, Daniel and Steven; his six grandchildren, Casey, Michaela, Ellie, Grace, Janet Joy and Caleb; and his sisters, Kathy and Patty.
The memorial service to celebrate the life of a loving husband, father, and grandfather will be held in Gold Canyon.
