Fisher, Vadena R.
Vadena R. Fisher, 91, of Marengo, formerly of Brooklyn, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Smith Funeral Home in Victor. Inurnment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Central City. The family will be present at the funeral home one hour before the service.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
Survivors include one sister, Wilma Hart of Brooklyn; one brother, Thomas Beasley of Hopewell, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Raymond Beasley; and two sisters, Myrtle Hull and Marian Freeman.
