Fisher, Paul B. 'Duke'
Paul B.”Duke” Fisher, 73, of Solon, formerly of South Amana, died at his home Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, surrounded by his family. A time for family and friends to gather to remember Paul will be held from 4 to 7p.m. Wednesday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Paul's memory.

Paul was born April 7, 1939, in Amo, Ind., the son of Clyde T. and Mildred F. (Robbins) Fisher. He was united in marriage to Linda (Novak) Runge Novak on Nov. 15, 1972, in Berwyn, Ill. For over 35 years Paul resided in South Amana where he worked for the Amana Society Builders as a carpenter for over 27 years, retiring in 2001. Paul and Linda moved to Solon in September 2009.
His family includes his wife, Linda; daughter, Bonnie Fisher of Harlingen, Texas, and her son, Dean and her three grandchildren; daughter, Melinda Fisher (Randy Smyth) of Ely and her children, Cory and Deanna; son, Jeff Runge (Brenda) of Monmouth, Ill. and their sons, Job and Noah; son, Mark Runge (Amy) of Solon and their children, Jordan and Jenna; and siblings, Clyde Fisher (Charlene) of Carmel, Ind., Anna Margaret Brock of Moravia, Ind., Victor Fisher (Zelma) of Bowling Green, Ky., Nancy Fisher of Phoenix, Ariz. and Walter Fisher (Mary) of Indianapolis, Ind.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Glen, Raymond and David Fisher; son, James Fisher; and granddaughter, Christina Fisher.
