Fischer, Dorothy Lucille
Dorothy Lucille Fischer, 98, of Sigourney, died Monday, March 8, 2010, at Manor House Care Center in Sigourney. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Sigourney Christian Church, with Pastor Jim Bringman officiating. Burial will be at Garrett Cemetery near Delta. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. today at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney.
Survivors include her daughter, Karlene Wonderlich, and husband, Arlen, of Ames; three grandchildren, Annalie (Chris) Thies, Kirscha (Brent) Gray, and Ahren (Heather) Wonderlich; and six great-grandchildren, Sydney and Landon Thies, Hudson and Kasch Gray, and Jaksen and Kali Wonderlich.
A memorial fund has been established for the Sigourney Christian Church and Keokuk County 4-H. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Sigourney is caring for Dorothy and her family.
