Fiet, Dorothy M.
Dorothy M. Fiet, 92, of Waukon, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon, with Pastor Samantha Houser officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon. Memorial services will be held at Brookview Senior Living at a later date.
Survivors include her children, Lorrayne Rudish of Marion, David (Gretta) Fiet of Rockford, Ill., Janice (Marvin) Smith of Cedar Rapids, and Marie (Larry) Johnston of Oxford; a son-in-law, Neil Shaffer of Townsend, Mont.; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
