Fiedler, Clarence
Clarence Fiedler, 89, formerly of Hopkinton, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Regional Medical Center, Manchester. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Hopkinton Cemetery. Father John Kremer will officiate at the services.

Clarence is survived by two sisters, Dolores Bacon of Opopka, Fla. and Laura Lee Meyers of Aurora; a sister-in-law, Sharon Fiedler of Earlville; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Jim, Henry and Ralph.
Clarence Fiedler was born May 15, 1923, in Worthington, Iowa, to Lawrence and Opal Bowers Fiedler. He worked at Lux Legion Land Farms and Link Belt Speeder. He served in the United States Army as a military policeman from 1954 to 1957, with an honorable discharge. He also served 14 months in Korea. He worked for Cherry Burrell, also known as International Paper, in an assembly for 28 years and then retired.
Clarence loved airplanes. He started flying in 1942 and held a pilot's license. He also loved taking home movies and movie pictures of parades and other interests.
Clarence was a loving brother and uncle.
Memorials may be directed to the Hopkinton Legion in memory of Clarence, for the new memorial.
