Ferring, Ronald 'Ron' J.
Ronald “Ron” J. Ferring, 72, of Chapin, S.C., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died June 27, 2011, at his residence with his family by his side. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at St. Paul's Cemetery in Wheatland.
Mr. Ferring was born in Moline, Ill., and was the son of the late Clement and Kathryn (Beeler) Ferring. He had been a manager of Hertz Rent-A-Car and JayDon Distribution.
Ron is survived by his wife, Marlo Hass Ferring; sons, Mark (Sherry) Ferring and Mike (Heidi) Ferring; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua and Cassandra Ferring; and one brother, Paul J. Ferring.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Ferring; and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to hospice.
