Feller, Joni L.
Joni L. Feller, 54, of Cedar Rapids, died March 11, 2012 at Manor Care Health Service following an extended illness. There will be a private graveside service to celebrate Joni's life at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Dickerson officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Paul of 30 years; and brother, Derick Blizek of Davenport. Joni was preceded in death by her parents.
Joni L. Feller was born January 16, 1958 in Kirksville, Mo. to Keith and Eleanor (Clark) Blizek. She married Paul Feller on September 26, 1981 in Dubuque, Iowa and worked many years as a computer programmer in the insurance industry. Joni loved reading, gardening and spending time with animals.
Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses that helped with the care of Joni during the last five years. Their compassion and kindness was greatly appreciated.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in memory of Joni to the American Cancer Society.
