Feldman, Ralph Henry

Funeral services for Ralph Henry Feldman, 86, of Tipton, who died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Tipton United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton.

Ralph was born April 4, 1925, in Walnut, Iowa, the son of Elmer and Maggie (Schlicht) Feldman. While growing up he attended country school. Ralph was united in marriage to Dorothy Louise Laucamp on Dec. 14, 1947, in Wilton, Iowa. He was a lifelong farmer of Cedar and Jones counties.

Ralph was a member of the Olin United Methodist Church, serving as custodian for 15 years, and a member of Cedar County Co-Op.

Ralph is loved and survived by his wife, Dorothy Feldman, of Tipton; daughters, Lois Gardner of Tipton, Linda (Michael) Jasudowicz of Swisher and Gwen (Thomas) McMahon of Mount Vernon; sons, Michael (Cheryl) Feldman of Williamsburg and David Feldman of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill and Dale; and son-in-law, James Gardner.
