Fehr, Devere J. 'Dee'
Devere J. “Dee” Fehr, 95, of San Diego, Calif., formerly of Marion, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, surrounded by his family. Services were held in California.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Catherine; a daughter, Catherine (Walt) Fehr-Palmer of California; a sister, Fern (Eugene) Struchen of Marion; a grandson, Garrett of California; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Devere J. Fehr was born Jan. 8, 1916, to John and Clara Fehr in Marion. He graduated from Marion High School with the class of 1934. He married Catherine Dye in Marion in July 1940. He served in the Navy and retired in San Diego, Calif.
