Fear, Mildred M.
Mildred M. Fear, 88, died after a short illness on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Aurora United Methodist Church, Aurora, Iowa. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery at Hazleton, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at 305 Pearl St. in Lamont and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Aurora United Methodist Church. Fawcett Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lamont is handling the arrangements.
Survivors include her four children, Lila (Lee) Opitz of Aurora, Dennis (Kay) Fear of Monticello, Nancy (Jerry) Trowbridge of Rickardsville, and Bret Fear of Dubuque; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Frank Brockmeyer of Oelwein and Wilbur Nading of Elgin.
