Fay, Daniel J.
Daniel J. Fay, 73, of Des Moines, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Born Aug. 27, 1940, he was the son of Edward and June Fay. Dan was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School in Cedar Rapids and he later graduated from St. Ambrose College and the University of Iowa Law School. He worked for many years in Des Moines for the Iowa Commerce Commission.
He is survived by his son, Sam (Cathy) of Oskaloosa; three grandchildren; brothers, Michael of Cedar Rapids and Timothy and John of Anamosa; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at 1801 E. Walnut, Des Moines.
