Fascher, Loretta E. (Taake)
Loretta E. (Taake) Fascher, 100, of Elkader, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at the Elkader Care Center. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Zion Lutheran Church, Clayton Center, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Leonard Funeral Home, Elkader, in charge of arrangements.
She was the wife of the late Ewald Fascher, whom she married March 4, 1930.
Survivors include her daughter, Arlene West; two grandchildren, Kathy (Allan) Barnett and Jeff West; two great-grandchildren, Sarah (Scott) Burmeister and David (Amber) Barnett; and four great-great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Jacob, Timothy Burmeister and Sophia Barnett.
